This summer has been busier than usual, but I have finally finished the first draft of my next YA book. I am continuing with the ongoing adventures of brothers, Will and Ken, in the world of Lady Anna’s Secret Garden. This latest book was probably the most difficult of the three books for me to write. There are more chapters with different viewpoints than the previous two books. It was a little tedious to have to keep track of what was going on with each character. But I muddled through it.
I will put this book aside for now and focus on my next short story. I am planning to write a story of realistic fiction, and I have an idea from something that happened when I was much younger. I am not sure if I can run with the actual story as I actually remember it or if I will need to change it a little. Either way, I am sure it will turn out to be an interesting short story, and I hope you will read it once it becomes available (later this year).
